Le recensioni più recenti, con parole loro
Verso la fine i lati hanno iniziato a disintegrarsi, ma dopo così tanti km percorsi è probabilmente normale. I pneumatici anteriori sono durati 60k km, quelli posteriori 75k km. Li ho comprati di nuovo, ho avuto una foratura sul fianco a 30k km, i pneumatici erano ancora come nuovi.
Sono al mio secondo set di pneumatici Goodyear Territory MT. Il primo set ha fatto 27.000 miglia e poi ho preso un nuovo veicolo che è arrivato con nuovi Territories. Questi sono pneumatici difficili da battere per il prezzo. Offrono aderenza in ogni situazione che li ho messi (incluso fango e acqua che supera il cofano del camion e avevano più trazione e prestazioni di un camion dietro di me con i famosi Nitto). Le mie maggiori antipatie sono che diventano molto rumorosi a partire da circa 20.000 miglia, anche con rotazioni ogni 3.000 miglia. Questi pneumatici hanno anche fiancate deboli, ma il loro prezzo rende la sostituzione non molto dolorosa.
Dopo 2 set di Michelin Cross Climate 2, in oltre 2 anni, sono passato a Goodyear. Ho percorso 38.000 km con loro.
Le prime impressioni per i primi 10.000 km erano che c'era poco da separare il Goodyear dal Michelin, a parte il fianco più morbido del Goodyear, ma la sensazione di strada era molto simile. Man mano che i chilometri aumentavano, ho sempre avuto l'impressione che il Michelin perdesse la sua nitidezza su strade molto bagnate. Il Goodyear non aveva questo problema. L'aderenza sia su asciutto che su molto bagnato è sembrata costante fino all'ultimo mese di utilizzo. Ottimo pneumatico sulla neve e sulle strade invernali molto bagnate dell'Irlanda. Lo consiglio rispetto al Michelin.
Beh, che dire. Questo Goodyear Effiecent Grip Performance 2 era di serie sugli pneumatici estivi del nostro Volvo EX30 P8 (Twin Power Performance).
Nella maggior parte dei casi ha una trazione sufficiente per gestire l'ENORME coppia che la piccola Volvo, apparentemente innocua, è in grado di erogare, ma non sempre.
I due problemi principali che riscontro con lo pneumatico sono i seguenti:
1. L'estrema mancanza di comfort. Sì, Volvo raccomanda di gonfiare questi pneumatici a 2,6 bar, ma non ho MAI guidato pneumatici così rigidi prima d'ora. Assorbono in modo pessimo anche le piccole asperità e i giunti.
2. Lo sterzo è molto impreciso. Non va mai esattamente dove lo si indirizza...
Passerò alle gomme Michelin da 18" per la prossima estate.
Non c'è molta aderenza sia sul secco che sul bagnato rispetto a un pneumatico estivo. Soprattutto in curva, il pneumatico non è davvero prevedibile e tende a sovrasterzare molto. La profondità del battistrada è ottima e non è quasi diminuita nel corso di una stagione invernale.
