I test sugli pneumatici ADAC sono tra i più influenti al mondo e per la stagione invernale 2020 l'ADAC ha scelto di testare quindici dei migliori pneumatici invernali per auto nella misura 205/55 R16 e tredici pneumatici invernali per SUV/4x4 nella misura 235/55 R17 .
Tutti i test sono stati condotti utilizzando una VW Golf MK7 e i primi cinque pneumatici sottoposti al test hanno ottenuto il premio "altamente consigliato" dall'ente di collaudo tedesco.
L'aspetto unico di questo test da 16" era che includevano uno pneumatico invernale ricostruito della società tedesca King Meiler. Questo pneumatico ricostruito ha avuto buone prestazioni nei test di usura, ma aveva una scarsa aderenza sull'asciutto e in particolare sul bagnato. È finito per essere uno dei tre pneumatici in fondo alla classifica come "non consigliato".
Per questo test, l'ADAC non ha fornito alcun dato, solo un punteggio per categoria e alcuni commenti sulle prestazioni degli pneumatici.
Risultati
I risultati complessivi sono stati ponderati come segue: 15% asciutto, 30% bagnato, 20% neve, 10% ghiaccio, 5% rumore, 10% consumo di carburante e 10% resistenza al rotolamento.
