Per il terzo test sugli pneumatici invernali del 2019, Auto Bild ha alzato il livello del divertimento e ha montato su un'Audi S5 undici set di pneumatici invernali ad altissime prestazioni 255/35 R19, oltre al consueto set di pneumatici estivi di riferimento!

Dopo la vittoria in Auto Express, il nuovo Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ conquista la sua seconda vittoria del 2019, dimostrando ancora una volta di avere un mix di qualità pressoché impeccabile. Anche Vredestein ha continuato la sua serie di buoni risultati con un secondo posto molto forte per il Wintrac Pro. Questo pneumatico è significativamente più economico degli pneumatici invernali premium nel Regno Unito, quindi è probabilmente la scelta migliore se hai bisogno di risparmiare qualche sterlina.

A completare i primi tre c'è l'Uniroyal MSPlus 77. Questo pneumatico è stato estremamente forte sulla neve, ma relativamente debole sull'asciutto e sul bagnato. Ciò significa che mentre l'Uniroyal si è piazzato più in alto in generale rispetto a pneumatici come il Continental WinterContact TS860S, gli pneumatici con prestazioni migliori sull'asciutto e sul bagnato sono molto più adatti al clima del Regno Unito.

Il nuovo pneumatico Goodyear ha vinto il test di frenata su asciutto, ma è rimasto notevolmente indietro rispetto allo pneumatico estivo. Anche gli pneumatici di fascia media di Kumho e Toyo hanno ottenuto risultati eccellenti.
